I've been rocking the au naturel makeup for the past few years. That is kinda strange for a girl that is obsessed with makeup but what can I say, I am that girl. I always thought that less is more and I always felt better with less makeup. Take for example my eyes. Although I love a smokey eye or eyeshadows in general, I'm the kind of girl that wears mascara at most.

For my face, something I always loved is bronzer! For the past few years I have developed a love for bronzers. I cannot live without one and when I do, I don't feel like myself. I feel the need to get a little "tanned" and to contour my face with them, otherwise my face looks strange. Whoever said you cannot contour with bronzer, maybe was wrong, maybe not, I personally did that and still love doing it.

Also, you know my passion for red lips and I cannot lie, I wear them everyday, You can call me a freak or you can just ignore me, I'll wear red lipstick anyway. It makes me feel and look healthy, alive, cheerful, classy.

You can see below that my face is kinda white, no, I'm not sick and I do like to stay out in the sun and enjoy summer, but that's my SPF and the flash talking there so sorry for that! That may be also because I don't use foundation on a everyday basis, only concealer where needed. I'm lazy, I know.

Moving on to my next favourite product, that is without doubt *blush*. It's so hard to find the right one and I'm so happy that I finally did I will definitely make a separate post on the product I used on my cheecks because, let me tell you girls, it's the discovery of the year. Or the century, for me anyway, haha! 

And please, please, look at my lashes. Normally, you wouldn't even notice them. The most challenging job in the world for me is to find the perfect mascara. That black mascara that makes my lashes look fuller, longer and one that actually keeps them curled! I never thought that another mascara could stand near my False Lash Effect Mascara from Max Factor, but what I used here really made me change my mind.

This is my everyday makeup and this is what I wear to feel comfortable and pretty on a daily basis. It's strange but I always felt like this routine was too much anyway.

Now this is my kind of an everyday makeup! I've been wearing this for the past few weeks, changing the eyeshadows from matte to shimmery from now and then. This is the makeup I wore yesterday actually, when I was in a hurry to go to work&everything. The colors I love for an everyday makeup look are, of course, the nude ones, with a hint or black on the crease or dark brown to accentuate my eyes. My go to makeup look has received some compliments lately, especially since I haven't put real make-up on my eyes for months, haha!

Here's how I do this make-up:

1. I don't use foundation. I applied Maybelline Fit Me concealer in shade 10 to conceal my under eye circles, followed by e.l.f HD Powder in Yellow. For the bronzer I used e.l.f Matte Bronzer, followed by L'Oreal Blush in  True Rose.

2. I primed my eyes with e.l.f eyeshadow primer, applied a puff of powder and then applied Maybelline Color Tattoo in Rose Gold.

3. Eyeshadow is from Sleek Storm Palette (in the crease) and Eye of Horus 'Isis Sun Goddess' palette. I applied the eyeliner (Essence Ink Waterproof Eyeliner) and the mascara (Max Factor 24h Bold Volume).

4. For the eyebrows I used the darkest brown from the e.l.f. Brownstone mini palette.

5. Last but not least, Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Nude on my waterline.

I know, there are lots of reviews out there, but one more won't harm anyone, right? I will tell you my honest opinion about these two products, from the point of view of a girl that has super oily lids. 

It's not a secret that I love makeup and love wearing it on myself too. I actually didn't wear eyeshadow on myself for years because of my oily lids. I've been trying every single method out there and nothing, my lids just keep getting oily and my eyes makeup is therefore ruined. That's the reason why, for the past few years, I wore only mascara on my eyes.

I bought these two products because of all the good reviews on the internet and now they are just something I used every single day for the past two weeks. I apply them on my lids at 7 am, when I get ready for work and at 9 pm, after I get home, my makeup is still intact. The thing is that they work on me only if I apply a little powder on my lids, and after that, ta-daa. Fresh, clean makeup for 12-13 hours.
As you can see, I have two shades: Permanent Taupe and Pink Gold. I chose these two shades because I wanted to create kind of a day smokey eyes, something that would only accentuate my eyes without telling everyone 'hey I'm wearing eyeshadow today!' haha. I found out that this shade, Permanent Taupe, is the perfect one for contouring my crease because it blends in so well and it's just that perfect shade...I guess you gotta love it! And Rose Gold is just a peach shade with pink undertones and some glitter, which makes it perfect for day wear.

For me this is a big win and now I can really dare to wear makeup at work, without worying that my eyeshadow will crease after 2 hours. You can see in the pictures how they look on the skin and just how well they blend in. The creamy formula makes the application so smooth and pleasant. I'll just give Maybelline a huge plus for this range of products! Well done, guys.

Relatia mea cu produsele e.l.f incepea acum 3 ani si ceva, odata cu intentia de a deschide acest blog si cu intrarea mea in aceasta minunata lume. De-a lungul timpului am incercat multe din produsele lor, recunosc, intr-o prima faza datorita dorintei de a testa si de a scrie si a pretului mic de atunci, dar in ultimii ani mai ales din cauza calitatii produselor. Exista cateva produse pe care le tot recumpar, asta pentru ca s-au dovedit a fi aliatele mele de incredere atunci cand vine vorba de un machiaj de calitate si rezistent.

La ultima comanda mi-am ales de pe site spray-ul de fixare a machiajului, primer-ul mineral, primer-ul pentru fard de pleoape, pudra bronzanta nuanta Matte Bronze, pudra bronzanta nuanta Sunkissed, eyeliner-ul crema, doua iluminatoare crema si un ruj.

Spray-ul de fixare a machiajului si-a dovedit calitatile infailibile pe clientele mele, fie ele sarbatorite la o aniversare, fie mirese sau nase etc. E un produs fara de care nu pot concepe sa machiez pe cineva, face machiajul sa reziste ore si ore in sir. Va spun sincer ca toate clientele mi-au spus ca machiajul le-a rezistat pana in momentul in care l-au dat ele singure jos cu demachiant, si aici intra si tenurile grase sau cu probleme. Pentru pretul sau, 22 lei, e un produs fabulos si nici nu e de mirare ca il folosesc de ani de zile.

Primer-ul mineral mi-a atras si el atentia, mai ales ca mult iubitul meu primer de la Avon a disparut ca prin minune din gentuta mea de cosmetice si disparut a si ramas. Pana acum am remarcat urmatoarele: confera o rezistenta indelungata machiajului si creeaza o baza perfecta pentru aplicarea fondului de ten. Am citit unele recenzii pe net care spuneau ca e un produs gras, eu va spun: nici vorba! 

Primer-ul pentru fardul de pleoape e inca un produs care se regaseste pe masuta mea de toaleta de ani de zile. Nu numai ca fardul rezista mult mai bine, dar si ofera intensitate culorilor. E un produs care imi place foarte mult si care chiar face diferenta.

Eyeliner-ul crema e un produs bunicel, are o culoare intensa si e bine pigmentat. Daca tot am dat comanda pe site si chiar ramasesem in pana cu eyelinerele mele, m-am decis sa il incerc. Imi place ca este cremos (evident!), se aplica usor, insa rezistenta as aprecia ca este una medie. Pensula care vine alaturi de eyeliner este foarte tare si aspra...si parca strica cumva aplicarea eyelinerului. Cu toate acestea, il voi mai folosi o perioada si abia apoi voi putea da un vedict final.

Despre ruj pot sa spun atat: e hidratant, cremos si are o culoare perfecta pentru un look de zi. De asemenea, este foarte usor de aplicat datorita ambalajului sau, practic produsul iese singur din tub!

Iluminatoarele crema sunt niste produse pe care mi le-am dorit multa vreme sa le incerc datorita efectelor lor. Initial cautasem alte doua nuante, dar una din ele nu era pe stoc si anume Toasted, pe care intentionam sa o folosesc in fondul de ten. Am luat pana la urma nuantele Lilac Petal (pe care o folosesc in fondul de ten ocazional) si Golden Peach. Formula lor mi se pare mult mai buna decat formula de acum cativa ani, cand produsul era atat de lichid ca nici nu il puteam folosi. 

Despre pudrele bronzante e.l.f. as avea cateva lucruri interesante de spus. Le ador! Am nuantele urmatoare: Sunkissed (ofera o nuanta aurie si stralucitoare tenului), Warm Tan (este o pudra bronzanta sclipicioasa mortala) si Matte Bronze (excelenta pentru contur; e mata). Mie pudrele astea mi se pare excelente la pretul lor. Sunt pigmentate, rezistente, sunt usor de folosit si de blenduit, ah, ce sa va mai spun in afara de faptul ca le ador!

In pozele de mai jos am folosit Matte Bronze pentru contur si Sunkissed pe pometi. Pozele sunt editate doar in colturi.

Pe masura ce se apropie sarbatorile, incepem sa ne gandim tot mai serios la ce machiaj vom purta, cum ne vom aranja parul si cate si mai cate. Mereu mi-am inchipuit ca de Craciun merge bine un machiaj mai simplu, nu foarte strident, urmand ca de anul nou sa imi fac de cap (daca va fi cazul) cu ceva stralucitor, in culori inchise si cu gene false.

Aceasta este propunerea mea pentru machiajul de Craciun :D Simplu, dar musai cu gene false!

Hello! Mi-am facut destul de cap in ultimele zile, asa ca azi revin cu un machiaj si un tutorial in poze, asa cum mi-a sugerat Laura. De asemenea, imi voi relua activitatea pe blog cu si mai multa insufletire (care sper sa se mentina) si cu review-uri, machiaje etc. Doar e un blog de make-up & beauty, nu?:) Pana una alta, va las mai jos pozele cu pasii pe care trebuie sa ii urmati daca va place machiajul si doriti sa il realizati si voi. Nu e greu, o sa vedeti.

    Acesta este rezultatul final: un machiaj cu tonuri de roz si maro, usor smokey si un cut-crease discret, menit sa puna ochii in evidenta.

    Pasul 1
    Inainte de toate, mi-am pregatit ochii cu fond de ten si pudra, apoi am aplicat ca baza creionul Veryme, roz, de la Oriflame (vezi poza la final cu toate produsele).

Asa cum puteti observa, creionul nu l-am aplicat si in coltul interior al ochiului, acolo urmeaza altceva.

    Pasul 2
  Am aplicat un fard de culoare roz peste creion. 

 
   Pasul 3
   Am inceput sa fac cut-crease-ul, cu o pensula subtire si un fard maro.

     Pasul 4
    ...apoi am aplicat un fard alb, mat in coltul interior, peste care am pus unul alb, sidefat.

     Pasul 5
   Am mai aplicat culoare pe cut-crease. Am "tras" culoarea in afara.

   
      Pasul 6
      Am luat o pensula mica pentru blending si am blenduit bine.

 
    - nu va faceti griji daca linia cut-crease-ului e prea "dura"; totul va fi blenduit bine pana la urma
    - am aplicat putin fard maro din trusa Everyday Makeup de la e.l.f, peste maroul meu, ca rezultatul sa fie usor sidefat
    - am luat o nuanta deschisa de crem si am blenduit cu aceeasi pensula pentru a face legatura intre acel maro si nuanta pielii.

    Pasul 7
   Am aplicat highligh-ul, insistand pe zona cea mai inalta a sprancenei (arcuirea).

     Pasul 8
    Am conturat partea inferioara a ochiului cu acelasi fard folosit pentru cut-crease. Am blenduit usor linia.

    Pasul 9
   Am aplicat un creion contur negru, pe care l-am incalzit inainte la flacara unei brichete...

 
    ... apoi l-am "smudge-uit" bine, facand totodata legatura cu cut-crease-ul, ca linia sa nu para nelalocul ei.

 - am conturat cu acelasi creion pe waterline si am smudge-uit putin linia

    Pasul 10
    Am aplicat mascara and you're done!

Acum urmeaza produsele folosite.

     - 1 - pentru highlight

 Cam atat! Sper ca v-a placut. Astept opiniile voastre!
