Craciunul, in mintea mea, are ceva special. E linistea aia, e comfortul acela psihic care ma face sa iubesc Craciunul mai mult decat orice alta sarbatoare din an. Perioada lunii decembrie e perioada in care pot asculta colinde non stop. In care ma pot uita la Home Alone desi am vazut toata seria in fiecare an de vreo 5-6 ani incoace.

Ceasul Fossil si colierul le-am primit cadou si le-am purtat aproape zilnic in ultimele luni.

Puloverul mi s-a parut foarte dragalas. Are mici cupcakes pe el si e roz.

I don't even know when I got so many new products but August is clearly the month to spoil myself. It's probably worthless saying how much I love spending money on beauty products, but it's worth mentioning that this month I bought mainly cheap products from DM. I'm just starting experiencing with Balea and Essence products that are a revelation for me and sporadically order something from the online.
Me Now Long Lasting Lip Gloss in 03 and The Hot Shop Lip Crayon in 12

This was purely experimental, I only wanted to try some BornPrettyStore makeup products and I saw these. I've used them a few times and they exceeded my expectations. The colors are actually really pretty and their formula allows a smooth and flawless application. They're definitely worth a try if you're in for a treat.

Avene SPF 50+ Water Resistant Cream

It's not that I don't like my Kiss My  Face SPF 30 Cream, I still like it a lot and I used it most nights also because it's a safe choice for my skin and lately everything seems to break me out. The problem is I recently noticed this is not water resistant and if only one drop of water touches my face, it will leave a white spot there. This is the only grip I have with the KMF sunscreen and the reason why I got a new one from Avene. I always liked their products and I just hope this one will be no exception.

Mebra Vitamin A Cream (Retinol)

I know that using a retinol cream is way too early for me (I'm 24) but I bought this hoping it would help me with my pimples. This is a very cheap cream with natural ingredients that also contains retinol. I was reluctant when I got it as I was sure it was a waste of time trying it but, there's a but, it helped a lot with a few small pimples I had for over 2 months on my chin. Nothing worked on them, but this. I like this so, so much, I will continue to use it on my entire face once a week.

Essence Lip Liners in 12 Wish Me a Rose and 15 Honey Berry

I don't know what took me so long, but I finally tried two shades of one of the most raved product in the beauty blogosphere. I just can't believe how nice these products are. They are creamy, the colors are intense and opaque and they can easily be used as regular lipstick for carefree summer days, as they don't dry out the lips and they don't smudge out. I am planning to get more shades as they are very affordable.

Meli Melo hair band and Starfish Hair clip

I use a hair band 5-6 days out of 7 as I find it's really easy to put my hair up and looking nice at the same time. I bought this one from Meli Melo, that's were I usually shop for hair accessories since they are cheap. I ordered the Starfish hair clip a lifetime ago, you know how the international shipping is. I think it's actually pretty, but I don't know how to use it yet, haha.

Balea Beauty Effect Hyaluron Booster

I bought this serum because it has Hyaluronic Acid in it (in a small amount of course) and I was hoping it will help me with my dry skin. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of it. It's not that hydrating and it broke me out in little red pimples.

Green Clay

I'm a big fan of clay masks, but I don't like this green clay that much. I find that it leaves my skin super dry and irritated and of course that's the last thing I need when my face is a desert.

Balea Aqua Mask

I always find myself buying more Balea products for the face, when I know the one true fact that they always break me out. I just couldn't help but buy the Aqua mask as I read it's great for dehydrated skin. I'll give it a try tonight as part of my home made facial.

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm SPF 20

This needs no further presentation, it's perfect for summer days as it's hydrating and has SPF 20 in it. I also tried the blue version, but I find this one better.

Balea Luxury Handlotion Golden Glamour

This is actually a nice product as it smells wonderful, kind of luxurious and has a very nice packaging but I do however find it's smell too heavy for most of the days. It's a nice product for not very dry hands.

Balea Cocos Deodorant

I'm not adventurous when it comes to deodorants. If I find a good one, I stick to it until it no longer does it's job (yes, that happens to me). This is a surprisingly nice product. It doesn't last all day, but the smell (kinda heavy and sweet for my like) lingers for at least 5-6 hours. Nice product, Balea.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse

I wanted to try this as a facial oil since my experience with them was such a pleasant one (throwback to my beloved Pai Rosehip Oil, the best facial oil ever). This Nuxe product is actually a dry oil so totally opposed to what I was expecting. I knew it was a dry oil, but I've never tried one and I was surprised by it's texture. I hate it. I hate the texture and if I had the money I would go back to my Pai Rosehip Oil in a heartbeat. It's a pain to apply it now that my skin is so dry and I don't like the strong scent either. BUT, moving forward these issues, this gives me a nice glow in the morning and I've had little to no pimples since I started using it. I guess it's okay to make a small sacrifice and close my eyes to it's scent and formula.

Victoria's Secret Aqua Kiss Spray

This is my first VS product and I love everything about it. The packaging is nice and girly and easy to take with when travelling. The smell is fresh and clean and makes me think about a holiday in the Hawaii. That's the voice of freesia and daisy! My boyfriend says it smells dreamy. Since I got this I actually used this a few times instead of perfume.

Fossil Jacqueline Hand watch

Isn't this gorgeous? No further presentation, I love this. It was a birthday gift from my boyfriend who knew how much I needed a new hand watch, but I never thought I'll receive such a pretty one.

Have a nice day!

Hello there!
So a few weeks ago I placed my first Iherb order. It literally took me about 2 weeks to decide which products to get because I wanted so many! As you know, Iherb can become quite an addiction for some of us and I'm really concerned that I may get that feeling too, haha. I received my order in 9 working days and I've had no problems with any of the products (missing products, etc).

First of all, I ordered the Heritage Products Rosewater Mist, which was $6.97. The bottle has 240 ml and I use it for my face and my neck area. What I can say after using it a few days is that I love it! I've used rosewater for my skincare routine before, but this is even better for my sensitive and dry skin. It also has anti ageing properties and hydrates the skin. You can find it here.

Because I love glycolic acid for my face, I thought that buying the Reviva Labs Glycolic Acid Toner wouldn't harm! Man, I was so right! Lately my face started breaking out due to using a face cream that now is in the trash. What I did was apply the glycolic acid toner on my face, let it sink in and then come up with my Glyco-A. My face looked amazing the next morning! Although it says that this product is for mature or sun-damaged skin, I think that the ingredients are perfect for a skin like mine. It was $8.40 and can be found here.

And of course I had to order the sunscreen everyone is raving about, Face Factor Kiss My Face SPF 30. I like it so far, although I've only used it a couple of days. The ingredient list is also really nice, it keeps my face matte yet still hydrated. I will probably come back with a review soon! It was $9.95 and can be found here.

Also, I mentioned a few times how much I like the e.l.f Mineral Booster in Shimmer. I love it and I use it everyday. This keeps my face matte, whithout drying it out and gives a nice, flawless glow to my face. What can I say more, it's cheap and does it's job! It was $3.50 and can be found here.

Have you used any of the products above?

Just so you know, I am a beauty junkie. That means I like trying out new products, even though I end up regretting that 70% of the time. But in the rest of 30% of my time, I am happy to find out that some of the products I bought in a heartbeat were not lost cases, but happy endings.

Of course, I will always, always invest more in my skin so that I won't have to invest too much in my makeup, haha. But there are some essentials, like those from today, that I use on an everyday basis so finding the perfect ones takes time and patience. And courage, because experimenting can be quite a challenge sometimes.

So, first things first, we went to Sinaia for a few days last week. There was an event and I 'accidentaly' put on too much of my favourite perfume, Possess by Oriflame. And that was it. I had to buy a new bottle because I never felt so connected to another perfume up until now. I just feel that it suits my personality very much.

The sunblock I've used on an everyday basis for the past few weeks is Bioderma ABCDerm SPF50. I switched to this one because it has mineral filters instead of chemicals one that used to break me out. I want to do a full review on it, because there are some interesting things to say about how it behaves.

Glyco-A from Isis Pharma was really hard to find in my town. I've been using it for about two weeks now and my face was a disaster for the first few days. I had, what I call, 'an under construction face'. I read many reviews and it can lead to some breakouts in the first days of use and that is normal when you use a 12% AHA product. I'm gonna review it separately.

Because I love sunkissed skin soooooo much, I decided to buy from Amazon two bottles of Dove Summer Glow (Medium to Dark skin). It was love at first...sniff! It smells really delicious and fresh and I hope it will be my year-round saviour. I thoght it would be the nicest, easiest way to achieve that glow. I've used it a few times up until now and it's fine so far!

Maybelline Baby Lips is the cutest product ever! I love the packaging, I love the formula, I love the smell and I love it all! It does moisturize the lips, although when it's really cold outside it doesn't provide enough moisture. But otherwise it's great.

Garnier Mineral InvisiDry Anti-Perspirant is my new discovery. I like staying fresh all the time so an effective deodorant is a must. This one has won my heart from the first uses. It smells fresh and really does it's job.

L'Oreal Telescopic mascara is my new fave, but I should probably try and get the review done! It's a perfect mascara for lenghtening, trust me!

These are my latest discoveries and more products are on their way! Have you tried any of them?

Finally I get the chance to say something about this fantastic product called the Dermablend Foundation!! Wow, I can hardly find the words to describe my enthusiasm for this product :) I will tel you why right away.
So, a few months it happened that a makeup product caused me some really bad breakouts and my L'Oreal True Match Foundation didn't seem to do the job too well so I started looking for a high coverage foundation that I could use until my face recovered from that madness. I found out that this foundation has one of the highest coverage power on the market and, being a fan of Vichy skincare products, it came easily to me to try this out. I went to the pharmacy and requested some samples to try it out and see if it fits my needs and if it was worth the money because it's not a cheap product.
I used the samples for a few days and I fell in love with this foundation. Let me tell you guys, this can cover anything, from acne to dark circles, anything I'm telling you. When I wear this on my face, I don't have to wear concealer anymore because the coverage is very high and I simply don't need more. On the tube it says that can last up to 16 hours which is not the case with my face...it doesn't last more than 6-7 hours on my skin, but that's ok with me because I have combination skin and also use moisturizing face creams under it and I kinda expect that to happen. This doesn't mean that my face gets very oily, especially when I use my e.l.f High Definition Powder, so it just gets a little shinny.
The formula is very ligh but the amount of pigment really provides a great coverage. I was expecting to find a thick product but no, it's really watery like the L'Oreal True Match Foundation which is kinda impressive. It didn't break me out and I found that the color I tested&purchased fits me perfectly: I wear 25 Nude and love it. Here are the swatches, one in natural light and one with flash.
This is me wearing it.
Sorry for not posting a before and after picture, I am not comfortable doing it. As you can see, my skin looks almost perfect. It's the foundation that makes it that way. In fact, when I took this picture I had a very bad skin day.I think that when you wear a high converage foundation the least thing you want is to feel it on your skin. Another thing that I love about Dermablend is that it feels almost like your second skin, very lightweight and comfortable. Of course, I know that it may not be how everyone out there feels about it, but this has really exceeded my expectations.
A very important thing when using a foundation of any kind is to properly prepare your skin for it. That means cleaning your face, exfoliating and using a hydrating product. Until a few months ago, I had a really bad skincare routine (now that I think about it, I couldn't call it a 'routine') and things dramatically changed after I realized it. Another important step is the tool you use to apply it. From my experience, the best one is a damp beauty blender, especially when we are talking about high coverage foundations that can tend to get cakey.
I have been using this product every day since I bought it, even though my face has cleared out. If I still use foundation anyway, I want to use something with a high coverage and this is my no 1 choice now. The effect on my skin is so dewy and natural, it doesn't feel or look like a mask at all! Definitely a great product and I am so happy I found it.

Have you tried it?
